UMW Salad Luncheon Update
It was decided, after gathering input from some of you, that we will go ahead with receiving the $25 donations if you had signed up to bring food and or work. We will see how things proceed from that and if necessary will try a smaller fund raiser of some kind down the road.
We thank you for your input, generosity and understanding of our situation. Please make checks payable to UMW and either bring to the church office or give to Judy Griesse, Treasurer.

ATLAS can't take much more furniture at this time. At the same time they hate to turn good items down. There are people around the west half of Iowa who are pooling furniture to bring it. I think many of them could find a way to store it for now. But ATLAS is asking for the following:
1. Please check with people whether they know of a building that could be used for storing furniture (in town is highly
2. Please remind people to deliver purposeful items - not just use this as a way to remove unwanted items from their homes
3. Please ask for more volunteers to man the old Simply Said building, and the Ag shop at the high school. They don't need to lift, but would keep track of who brings what, and who reserves what.

If you (or someone you know) is not receiving the monthly church newsletter or weekly prayer partner emails & would like to be included, please contact the office to add your name to the list.
If you would like to receive services from RRUMC Caring Hands Meal Ministry and/or Transportation Ministry, contact the church office.
Frontier Bank is starting a monthly Community Project. Each month they will focus on a new charity, and collect items needed by that charity. This month’s recipient is the Supply Our Students Program. Needed items include backpacks, notebooks, folders, tape, pencils, pencil sharpeners, calculators, highlighters, markers, colored pencils, pens and erasers. For those that choose to participate, donations can be dropped off at your local Frontier Bank Branch.
The Lyon County Fair Association is sponsoring a gospel concert as a part of the fair. The concert will be July 20th at First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids at 6:30 pm. Performing will be Voices of Faith and soloists Tana Meyer, Caddiy Koedam and Rev. David Poppen. A free-will offering will be taken. The money is given to the singers and the church for the use of their facility.
